This success was followed by her co-founding of Strange Fruit Media in 1997, a production company known for its acclaimed series such as “Sunday Best,” “The Family Crews,” “One Night Only,” “Exalted!,” and “Family Reunion.”
One of Hill’s most notable contributions is The Momentum Experience, an innovative distribution model created to represent underrepresented communities in documentary filmmaking. By merging live theater performances with commercial film, The Momentum Experience has received strong support from industry icons like Will Smith, Tisha Campbell-Martin, Duane Martin, and Blair Underwood.
Hill’s influence extends far beyond traditional media. She has received an NAACP Image Award for Executive Producing the TV competition series “Sunday Best” and a GRAMMY Award for co-writing the hit song “Jesus,” performed by Le’Andria Johnson.
